Phillipa Dobinson is a Chartered Surveyor with 20 years post qualification experience in the field of General Practice.

In the last 5 years she has helped to grow and develop Arc Building Consultancy managing and supporting the business and building surveying team whilst providing consultancy services in the field of Business Rates. More recently Phillipa has focused on Business Management and Business Development, further developing her role within the building consultancy team.

Phillipa has specialised in providing Business Rates advice to clients in employed positions with FHP Property Consultants and Capital Retail in Nottingham, and started her career at Montagu Evans in London.

During her career she has dealt with a broad spectrum of properties, to include hospitals and health care centres, fire stations, offices, industrial premises, retail units and shopping centres. At FHP she was instrumental in developing a Shopping Centre Rating Team, providing proactive advice and achieving significant savings in rates through challenging the Rating List and implementing empty rate mitigation strategies.
